Join us as we bring Louisa County History to Life celebrating our culturally divers past, present and future!
Live demonstrations include blacksmithing, hide tanning, hearth cooking in our Colonial era farmhouse, an old school lesson by the school marm in our newly restored 1880s schoolhouse.
Hands-on activities include making corn husk dolls, playing period games, riding a barrel train pulled by draft horses, learn to card and spin wool, send a telgraph, needle work and more!
We will also have local artisans, craft and food vendors!
We will also have on-site genealogy research specialists to help you trace your family roots!
